“I want to go home…” The war made these words the slogan of millions of people in Ukraine who were forced to leave their homes. Most of us have not thought before that this desire can be so heartbreaking with despair and pain. For the volunteers of our Fund, these are not just words either, because they are all displaced persons from the town of Pology, Zaporizhia region. And now for all of us this is the most beautiful city in the world: picturesque and developed, so quiet and even more familiar… Neighbors, colleagues, classmates, just acquaintances with whom we lived in the same city, district became relatives… And where would we haven’t been, we cry when we meet compatriots. Trouble unites everyone, and in the face of it we become stronger and start to act. There are many of us, which means victory will be ours. For us, the Fund is our home, our work, and the opportunity to save someone from hopelessness. Sometimes for this a person needs quite a bit: to be remembered and cared for.Pology district, Zaporizhia region, who are currently in Zaporizhia. Distribution of butter has begun.
