The New Year 2023 has come. What will it be? With a very bitter taste. And even “magical” New Year’s holidays did not ease the pain of mental wounds. But nothing can deprive us of hope. The year 2023 is the year of HOPE. Therefore, on New Year’s Eve, despite everything, with a glass of champagne, after waiting for the “zero” mark of the countdown, we made new plans with the hope of victory. And be sure, everything will work out for us! As long as we support the army, the economy and each other – we are invincible! This is how our Fund continues working in the realities that the enemy changes every day, and does everything possible to ensure the vital needs of our compatriots not only today, but also tomorrow. And as it should be, those who have good intentions and do good deeds always find allies. Our Fund is also lucky. On this path, fate brought us together with like-minded people – the ACTED team https://www.acted.org/en/get-involved/donate/ – an international humanitarian organization that has been working in Ukraine since 2015. ACTED responds to the emergency and long-term needs of vulnerable, conflict-affected populations.
Since the outbreak of the military conflict in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, ACTED has intensified its activities to support displaced persons and evacuees all over Ukraine. Therefore, after getting acquainted with the activities and needs of our Fund, ACTED provided us with a grant, the purpose of which is to provide food kits to the most vulnerable categories of internally displaced persons who were evacuated to the settlements of Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions from the territory of Polofy district of Zaporizhzhia region, and residents of the same district, who remained in places of permanent residence (front-line territories or in war zones), in particular: the disabled people, retiree, large families, single parents, pregnant women. 2,900 food kits have already been purchased and are in the Fund’s warehouse.
